..........1635 - Religious dissident Roger Williams was banished from the Massachusetts Bay Colony. He went on to found Rhode Island, found the first Baptist church in America, and edit the first dictionary of Native American languages. Wow! There was an ass kickin' hurricane too but that was back in August/1635.
