Religion really should stay in churches or temples and stay out of political campaigns or any public venue for that matter; it should remain personal, out of consideration for others who may believe differently. Why should I have to watch some televangelist shake his bible at me on my TV? Freedom of conscience is a precious right that we've inherited from the founders. I think the religious right is abusing it. If you don't agree with them you get the scarlet letter and tsk'd tsk'd into oblivion.
